"Unveiling the Disturbing Glitch: Security Cam Owners Given Unintended Glimpses into Strangers' Homes"

Owners of a popular security camera were left in disbelief after receiving images from inside other people’s homes instead of their own. One user even claimed to have seen a couple in the nude. The embarrassing mishap affected a small number of customers of the Seattle-based company, Wyze. Shocked users took to Reddit to express their surprise and apologize if they inadvertently invaded someone else’s privacy. Some customers reported feeling disturbed and worried about their own privacy. The issue was traced back to a web caching problem on Wyze’s web viewer, which lasted for approximately 30 minutes on Friday. The company quickly addressed the issue and assured customers that it did not affect the Wyze app or those who did not log into view.wyze.com during that time. Wyze is actively investigating the incident and working to prevent it from happening again. They are also trying to identify the affected users. According to a spokesperson, around ten users’ feeds may have been exposed. Despite this incident, Wyze remains committed to enhancing security for its users.
