ADT, currently owned by private equity giant Apollo Global Management, did not provide further details about the incident.
Despite the breach, ADT remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of its six million customers. The company’s spokesperson declined to comment on the cyberattack when contacted by TechCrunch.
