One woman recently shared her experience of strange occurrences with her Ring doorbell whenever her husband is at home. The cameras magically stop working and glitch, leaving her wondering why they appear to be off whenever he’s around.
When she confronted her husband about this, she was met with a defensive attitude. She began to question whether she was wrong for asking him about it due to his reaction. Seeking advice, she turned to Reddit to explain her situation and see what others thought.
According to her post, they recently got married and moved in together. They have a great relationship, a healthy sex life, and good communication. She also mentioned that they have multiple cameras around the house for security purposes and to communicate with their kids who don’t have cell phones yet. However, she noticed that whenever her husband is home, the cameras glitch and she can’t view anything on them. He is the main account holder for the camera system, which adds to her confusion.
She described how the cameras worked perfectly fine in the first few weeks after moving into their new house. But then, whenever her husband was home alone and the kids came home from school, there would be no notification from the Ring doorbell. It seemed as though the shots were deleted from the timeline.
When she mentioned this to her husband, he became defensive. However, they later talked it over and agreed to move past it. She decided to keep track of when she noticed these “glitches” happening.
Unfortunately, these incidents continued to occur whenever her husband was home alone. She even tried checking the garage camera one day to see if he had left the door open, but she received an error message saying “live view failed.” When she confronted him about it, he reacted defensively, which surprised her. She clarified that she didn’t accuse him of anything, but she did insinuate that she thought he had something to do with the camera issues.
Other Reddit users chimed in, expressing concern about the husband’s behavior. They suggested that just because they have a healthy sex life doesn’t mean he isn’t cheating or hiding something else. Some even recommended setting up a secret camera or nanny cam to get to the bottom of the situation.
It’s clear that this woman is seeking answers and trying to understand why the cameras only glitch when her husband is home. The mystery continues, and she hopes to find a resolution soon.
