Police have released security camera footage of a burglar who hit nine houses in one night. Sean Maher, 38, was caught on camera in Bretton, Peterborough, stumbling over a wheelbarrow and riding a stolen mountain bike. Maher, from Welford Place, Wittering, was sentenced to three years in jail after admitting to multiple burglary charges. Detective Sergeant Rich Ellison said Maher has a long history of similar offenses dating back to 1999. “He went on a house-to-house spree in Bretton, managing to break into two homes,” Ellison added.
