Helping out your neighbor is usually a no-brainer, but sometimes things can get a little out of hand. One woman found herself in a sticky situation when her neighbor made a pretty outrageous request and then threw a tantrum when she couldn’t fulfill it.
It all started when the woman installed some outdoor cameras for extra security. Her nosy neighbor took notice and asked her to adjust the camera angles so his house would be in view too. When she refused and suggested he get his own cameras, he threatened to report her to the Homeowner Association.
But don’t worry, the woman did the right thing and contacted the HOA herself. They confirmed she was in the clear and even shared that the upset neighbor was pulling out of the neighborhood watch because he felt like no one was looking out for each other.
Commenters on the post had the woman’s back, pointing out that giving access to her camera footage would invade her privacy. One person even called out the entitled neighbor for wanting the benefits of security without paying for it.
