Helping out your neighbor is usually a no-brainer, but sometimes things can get a little out of hand. One woman found herself in a sticky situation when her neighbor made a rather bold request and then proceeded to throw a fit when she couldn’t fulfill it.
It all started when the woman installed some outdoor cameras for extra security. Her nosy neighbor took notice and began asking questions about the cameras. But then, he dropped a bombshell – he wanted her to adjust the camera angles so his house would be in view too.
At first, the woman thought he was joking, but he was dead serious. He even went as far as to demand access to the footage. When she politely declined and suggested he get his own cameras, he threatened to report her to the Homeowner Association (HOA).
After contacting the HOA herself, the woman was relieved to find out she had done nothing wrong by refusing her neighbor’s request. And it seems the neighbor’s tantrum backfired, as he decided to pull out of the neighborhood watch because he felt neighbors weren’t looking out for each other.
