A Dutch company is revolutionizing home security by using Wi-Fi networks to detect intruders. Gamgee’s new Wi-Fi Home Alarm System offers a fresh approach to security in Europe and the USA, where traditional systems have low adoption rates.
The system analyzes Wi-Fi signals to create a ‘body print’ of individuals, distinguishing between humans, pets, and objects based on their movement patterns. CEO Paul Hendriks explains, “Our system interprets movement, not just detects it, enhancing safety for families.”
The system can be controlled through a mobile app, alerting homeowners of any unrecognized individuals. Users can customize detection zones in different rooms and all data is processed locally for security.
Gamgee is launching a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to bring the product to market. They are also partnering with top router manufacturers for seamless integration.
