CCTV footage has been released of a man starting a fire in Wolverhampton that tragically resulted in one death and four injuries. Emergency services responded to the blaze on Plascom Road, East Park in the early hours of 25 June. Akashdeep Singh, 26, sadly passed away in hospital, while four other family members were injured, with two still in critical but stable condition. Two men have been discharged after receiving treatment for minor injuries.
In a heartfelt tribute, Mr. Singh’s family described him as a “kind, helpful, and deeply religious person,” highlighting his impact as a true hero in their lives. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward, believing the released video will aid in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
