Ramsay, 57, has hired a professional security firm to ensure the safety of his London mansion, with guards and dogs patrolling the property 24/7.
An insider revealed, “The only thing more important to Gordon than his business empire is his family, so he’s not sparing any expense to keep them safe. Seeing the occupation of one of his premises spooked him, and he realized the same fate could befall his family home if he didn’t take extreme precautions.”
The York & Albany in Camden, North London, was targeted by six “professional squatters” in April, who barricaded themselves inside and caused extensive damage. Despite a lengthy legal battle, lawyers for Gordon Ramsay Holdings International Limited eventually secured a High Court order for the possession of the premises.
Now, with renovations underway at his family home, Ramsay is ensuring that the security measures put in place will remain even after the refurbishment is complete. With his wife Tana giving birth to their sixth child just six months ago, Ramsay is taking no chances when it comes to protecting his loved ones.
While a spokeswoman for Ramsay declined to comment on the situation, it’s clear that the celebrity chef is prioritizing the safety and security of his family above all else.
