With an 8MP camera integrated into the system, it even captures a picture of the last person who disabled your alarm.

The ADT+ App lets you manage your home security remotely. ADT also plans to integrate controls for third-party smart home products that use Matter, giving you the ability to control compatible smart lights, thermostats, and other smart technologies.
ADT has covered all the bases when it comes to security. The system features efficient contact sensors to detect when entry points are opened or closed, passive infrared (PIR) motion detectors that sense movement and ignore household pets, and a wireless key fob with a panic button for emergencies.
Installation
The Smart Home Alarm Package is designed for professional installation to ensure it is set up correctly and functions optimally. ADT will schedule a technician to visit your home and install the devices. The installation process may take a few hours, depending on the size and complexity of your home.
In terms of customer support, ADT offers 24/7 phone support, email support, and live chat. However, our researchers found that the customer support team didn’t always have the answers to our questions and it took up to 10 minutes to get through on the phone. The live chat provided quicker responses.
With your standard subscription, you’ll have access to the ADT Remote Operating Centre. This center conducts daily system checks to ensure every device is running optimally. Most technical issues can be resolved remotely. Depending on the subscription level you choose, you, your keyholders, the police, or a private security guard will be notified in the event of a security breach.
Our Verdict
