Helping out your neighbor is usually a no-brainer, but sometimes things can get a little out of hand. One woman found herself in a sticky situation when her neighbor made a ridiculous request and then threw a tantrum when she refused.
After installing some outdoor cameras for extra security, the woman’s neighbor asked her to adjust the angles so his house would be in view. When she declined and suggested he get his own cameras, he threatened to report her to the Homeowner Association (HOA).
Thankfully, the HOA had her back and confirmed she hadn’t broken any rules. The neighbor, on the other hand, decided to pull out of the neighborhood watch because he felt like no one was looking out for each other.
Commenters on the post agreed with the woman, saying that giving her neighbor access to her cameras would invade her privacy. They suggested he get his own security system instead of expecting a free ride.
In the end, it seems like this neighborly feud won’t be resolved anytime soon. But hey, at least the woman can rest easy knowing she stood her ground and protected her privacy.
